ProGuard Training is the industrial training division of ProGuard Consulting, delivering structured plant, lifting, and workplace safety training across the North West and North Wales, with UK-wide capability for multi-site clients.
We specialise in high-risk operational environments where plant, lifting operations, and mechanical handling equipment form part of everyday work. Our clients operate in construction, warehousing, logistics, utilities, manufacturing, and contractor-led environments where safe equipment use and workforce competence directly influence operational performance.
Our focus is simple:
Develop real competence. Reduce operational risk. Strengthen safety culture.
Training should not be a tick-box exercise.
At ProGuard Training, we design and deliver programmes that reflect real working conditions — your equipment, your traffic routes, your lifting plans, and your operational pressures.
We prioritise:
We do not deliver generic classroom-only sessions. We deliver structured, site-relevant training that transfers directly into safer performance on the ground.
To strengthen industrial safety performance by developing confident, competent operators and support personnel who understand both the mechanics of equipment and the risks surrounding its use.
We deliver structured, honest, competence-led training aligned to industry expectations and operational reality.
Our training reflects live site conditions- not theory detached from practice.
We focus on preventing the incidents that matter: struck-by events, dropped loads, plant collisions, falls from height, and lifting failures.
Clear documentation, structured assessments, and repeatable standards across sites.
We provide plant and industrial training for:
Our core delivery area covers the North West and North Wales, with structured UK-wide support available for larger operations.
Each programme is delivered with competence assessment and clear documentation suitable for training matrices and contractor assurance.
We are not a standalone “course provider.”
We are part of a wider safety and risk consultancy.
This means:
Training is delivered within a broader risk management context.
We assess:
We focus on whether operators are genuinely safe- not just whether they attended.
Where appropriate, training is delivered on-site using your equipment and aligned to:
This ensures direct operational relevance.
We provide structured records that support:
Professional documentation matters.
We operate primarily across the North West and North Wales, providing responsive and flexible delivery.
For multi-site organisations, we can support structured programmes across the UK.
Our training is designed to reduce the types of incidents that carry serious consequences:
We are committed to raising the standard of industrial training- not by adding complexity, but by strengthening competence.
If you require plant and industrial training delivered professionally, structured clearly, and aligned to operational risk control, ProGuard Training provides that capability.
